New Generation of Business Parks
(Uuden sukupolven Business Parkit)


The goal of the project is to produce relevant knowledge about business parks in order to support the construction company NCC in developing work and service environments that meet the clients’ future needs and take the challenges of new ways to work into consideration. The research supports both the design and production of business parks as well as the development of service concepts as a part of customer orientated real estate business.

Project Feedback as a Tool for Improving Performance
in Construction - PROPAL

(Projektipalautteella palvelukykyä rakennusalalle)

PROPAL is a research project focusing on performance measurement through project feedback in construction. The aim is to explore customer satisfaction in construction and create common systems and models for measuring the project participants' perceptions of a project's success.

PATA research focuses on supplier selection in facility maintenance services. The purpose of this research is to increase awareness and understanding about the factors that affect to the selection of facility maintenance service provider.

Life-Cycle Models for Indoor Environment and Building Services - CUBENet
(Talotekniikan tulevaisuuden elinkaaripalvelut)

The purpose of CUBENet is to create the basis for life-cycle services providing and maintaining high standard IEQ in a cost- and energy efficient way, and in a way that satisfies the needs of owners, clients and users. CUBENet enjoys close co-operation with EU Eurocontract, EU-ASEAN and national Life-Cycle Procurement Models in Building Construction projects.

Goal-oriented Business Relationships in Facility Services – Liike!

The aim of Liike! is to create management models for different kinds of procurement relationships in facility service purchasing, increase goal-orientation in business relationships through developing performance measurement-based earning models and develop contracting practices to support goal-orientation.

Customer Relationship Management In Rental Business

The aim of the study is to help office premise owners to understand the relationship of their tenants and their premises. It helps owners to see what their customers want and tenants to use their space resources more effectively.

Business Oriented Life-Cycle Design - Lihas
(Liiketoimintalähtöinen elinkaarisuunnittelu)

The LIHAS research project focuses on environmental and economic life cycle modelling of products in light and service industry companies. The research is carried out by the Helsinki University of Technology in co-operation with the University of California at Berkeley, the Helsinki School of Economics and industrial partners. The research project is funded by Tekes (National Technology Agency of Finland) and several industrial corporations.

PPP from the Perspective of End Users - The Nature of the Bidding Process - ASHA

The ASHA research project aims to exam the bidding process of PPP -projects from the perspective of end user and develop a bidding process which take account the end users advantage. The developed process is evaluated internationally.

Environmental Management Services In Business Premises - Kyky
(Kiinteistönhoidon ympäristötuotteet - Ympäristöosaamisella lisäarvoa kiinteistöliiketoimintaan)

The purpose of Kyky is to create an environmental management framework that helps to co-ordinate and intensify environmental work in the business premises. The research also maps out the competences and responsibilities of different parties: facility-service providers, property owners and end-users.
