CEM Facility Services Research is a research group that specializes in the research of the construction and facility service businesses. The group produces scientific research results and problem solving models to meet the needs of the Finnish construction and facility service industries. The group pursues to further the development of domestic construction and the facility industry as well as international competitiveness of the companies in this business sector. CEM Facility Services Research has been selected as a HUT Young Center of Excellence for 2006-2008 (in Finnish: tutkimuksen kärkiryhmä).

The group has been founded in the Laboratory of Construction Economics and Management (CEM) at the beginning of the 2000s. It operates in close collaboration with the construction and real estate industry as well as other research units in Finland. The group pursues to strengthen its international collaboration network with leading international research units.
